Job summary

Driver Hire Lancaster is seeking a reliable Van Driver to join our client in the Barrow-in-Furness area, delivering electrical wholesale products to customers across the region.

This is a customer-facing role, so excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude are essential. The successful candidate will represent both Driver Hire and our client while ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Must be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• No major endorsements on licence.
• Previous van driving experience preferred.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Delivering electrical wholesale items to commercial and trade customers.
• Loading and unloading goods as required.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring vehicle checks are carried out and reported correctly.

Driver Hire Lancaster is currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join our client in the Barrow-in-Furness area, delivering electrical wholesale products to customers across the region.

Duties Include

• Delivering electrical wholesale items to commercial and trade customers
• Loading and unloading goods as required
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Ensuring vehicle checks are carried out and reported correctly

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30am to 5:20pm
• Occasional Saturday work available

Pay Rate

£14.34 per hour
