Job summary

Planet Recruitment is seeking a proactive Van Driver in Banbury to deliver goods locally. You will interact with customers face to face and by phone, plan deliveries, and ensure items reach customers on time.

Daily duties include unloading, loading, and physical handling of items, with emphasis on safe vehicle checks and compliant driving. This role suits someone with sprinter van experience and a flexible attitude.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Knowledge of driving a sprinter sized van advantageous.
• Able to deal with customers face to face.
• Daily manual handling of heavy items required; good physical fitness.

Shifts

5am - 2pm Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for an energetic and motivated Luton Van driver to join their team delivering goods to their customers ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standards.

The Role

• Delivering goods across the local area.
• Speaking to customers face to face and over the telephone to arrange delivery when close.
• Hours potentially can vary dependent on different drops and routes.
• Unloading, storing, picking and loading, including heavy lifting of company items.
• Ensure vehicles are in a safe condition, with daily road worthiness checks correctly completed before use, and are operated in a safe manner.
• Applicants should have some knowledge of driving Sprinter sized vans.

About you

• Hold a Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Knowledge of driving a sprinter sized van would be advantageous
• Able to deal with customers on a face to face basis.
• Manual handling of heavy items will be required on a daily basis so a good level of physical fitness is required.
