Job summary

The Best Connection is currently seeking Van Delivery Drivers (Cat B) for our Stockton office. Roles are available on an ad‑hoc and long‑term basis, with usual hours applying.

Responsibilities include safe operation of a 3.5 tonne van, performing around 40 drops/collections daily across the North, and delivering to business and domestic customers. DBS check may be required; DBS checks will be carried out for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• B licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements.
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience.
• 5 years of checkable work history.
• A DBS check will be carried out for successful candidates.
• Excellent customer service skills.

The Best Connection are working closely with our international client to source additional Van (Cat B) Delivery Drivers for their Stockton office.

Please note that the positions will be available on an ad-hoc as well as long term basis.

The role:

• Safe operation of a 3.5 tonne vehicle (generally a long wheel base)
• Vehicle provided
• Use of a scanning device (training given)
• Parcel delivery and collection
• The work is multi-drop of around 40 deliveries / collections per day across the North.
• Deliveries to business and domestic customers

The candidate:

• "B" licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience
• 5 years of checkable work history
• A DBS check will be carried out for successful candidates
• Excellent customer service skills

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday (weekend over time as required)
• 08.00am to 17.00pm (delivery dependant)

Pay Rates:

• Up to £22.10 per hour after 45 hours per week
• Basic of £14.73 per hour up to 45 hours per week
