Job summary

Proman in Linlithgow is seeking a reliable Van Delivery Driver to join a growing food distribution operation. The role involves multi‑drop deliveries of bakery products to shops and depots, with early starts, night shifts, and a six‑day week, though every Saturday is off.

You will handle paperwork, vehicle checks, and customer service, ensuring safety and efficiency. The position is permanent, starting at midnight, with a pay rate of £14.00 per hour plus holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
• Aged 25+ for insurance purposes.
• Experience in commercial van driving preferred.
• Comfortable with early starts and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries of bakery and food products to commercial customers and depots.

We are currently recruiting for reliable and professional Van Delivery Drivers to join a well-established food manufacturer and distributor. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work with a growing business supplying bakery products to shops and depots.

The Role

As a Van Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries of bread and bakery goods to commercial customers and depots. This is a fast-paced role with time-sensitive deliveries.

Duties include:

• Multi-drop deliveries of bakery and food products

• Loading and unloading trays, cages and palletised goods

• Completing delivery paperwork and proof-of-delivery tasks

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks

• Returning empty trays and completed paperwork to depot

• Maintaining excellent hygiene, health & safety standards

• Providing friendly, professional customer service

Shift Pattern

• Regular 6-day working week

• Every Saturday off

• Night working and flexibility required

We are looking for drivers who are:

• Aged 25+ (insurance purposes)

• Holding a UK driving licence for at least 2 years

• Experienced in commercial van driving (business deliveries preferred)

• Confident delivering to commercial sites and customer premises

• Physically fit and comfortable handling trays and cages

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• Comfortable with early starts and night shifts
