Job description

Grafters Recruit is looking for multiple committed Home delivery Van drivers delivering furniture for IKEA individually or alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better every day!

• 8 hour working week, 5 days on, 3 days off

Duties

• Driving a 3.5‑tonne van in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic and vehicle legislation
• Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly secured and delivered in a safe manner
• Always providing a first‑class customer service experience

Requirements

• This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting
• Essential that you are physically able to lift items
• Valid in‑date driving licence (manual)
• No more than 6 points on driving licence
• Previous experience in a multi‑drop role would be advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
• DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
