Due to increased demand from our existing customers, we are currently seeking Van Drivers with a Cat B Licence, specifically to deliver products to the public.

This is a temp to perm position for a client located in Glasgow.
A valid Category B licence is essential; please do not apply if you do not possess this licence.
The Driver is responsible for thesafe, professional and efficient delivery of goods, providing a first-class customer experience while maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, vehicle care, compliance and operational performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliveries & Customer Service
- Deliver goods safely, professionally and within agreed service windows.
- Complete customer pre-calls and deliver goods to theRoom of Choicein accordance with Company procedures.
- Provide courteous, professional and respectful customer service.
- Handle customer queries and elevate issues appropriately.
- Handle all goods carefully to minimise damage.
- Follow procedures for failed deliveries, customer refusals and returns.
Vehicle & Driving
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks before starting duties.
- Report defects, accidents, incidents and damage immediately.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, security and presentation.
- Drive safely and responsibly in accordance with the Highway Code and all relevant legislation.
- Ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and legally compliant.
Operational Duties
- Safely load, unload and secure goods.
- Check products and quantities against delivery paperwork before departure.
- Follow planned delivery routes unless authorised otherwise.
- Maintain communication with operational management throughout the day.
- Assist colleagues and support warehouse operations when required.
- Process returned goods correctly, including scanning, documentation and handover.
- Report shortages, damages and discrepancies promptly.
Systems & Administration
- Correctly use Company systems, includingePOD (Flexipod), Vehicle Defect App, Debrief App, Clocking-In System, Lightfoot and Samsara.
- Complete delivery documentation, paperwork and customer records accurately.
- Record delivery exceptions and operational issues promptly.
- Complete end-of-shift vehicle debriefs and required documentation.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation, Company policies and Safe Systems of Work.
- Follow manual handling procedures and wear required uniform/PPE.
- Report hazards, accidents and near misses immediately.
- Follow applicableoperational standards.
- Promote safe working practices and environmentally responsible driving.
- Refuse work presenting an immediate serious safety risk in accordance with Company procedures.
PERFORMANCE & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and achieve delivery/productivity targets.
- Complete mandatory training and participate in coaching and performance reviews.

Pay: £12.71-£16.90 per hour
