Job summary

Bright Futures in the UK is seeking a confident People Business Partner to support managers across specialist adult and children’s services, helping build capable, compassionate teams. This generalist role covers practical HR advice, coaching through employee relations matters, and using workforce data to identify trends and inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist HR experience in multi-site or regulated environments.
• Confidence handling a varied employee relations caseload.
• Solutions-focused, with sound compliance and operational judgment.
• Ability to build credibility with managers and senior stakeholders.
• Strong coaching skills to guide and challenge managers.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Comfort using HR data to identify trends and risks.
• Values-led approach with discretion and confidentiality.
• Resilience and adaptability in challenging people matters.
• Continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with managers to provide clear, commercial and values-led HR advice.
• Coaching and supporting managers with absence, performance, conduct, grievance, welfare and other employee relations matters.
• Using HR data and workforce trends to identify risks and inform decisions.
• Supporting compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements.
• Contributing to policy development and manager upskilling across the People Team.
