Job summary

AbbVie in the United Kingdom seeks a health economist to design and execute evidence-synthesis and health economic models for HTA, payer assessments and pricing negotiations. You will coordinate data requirements across biostatistics and evidence generation, and help develop ITCs and HEMs to support strategic forecasts and market access decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across affiliates, share best practices, and contribute to value propositions and global models.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Statistics, Biostatistics, Public Health or related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in consultancy or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience delivering submissions to HTA agencies is desirable.
• Understanding health economics and evidence-synthesis as relevant to HTA, pricing and value assessment.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute evidence-synthesis, health economic models for HTA and payer assessments.
• Coordinate data requirements across biostatistics and evidence generation functions to support pricing & reimbursement.
• Develop ITCs and health economic models to inform value proposition and strategic forecast.
• Share best practices across affiliates and cross-functional partners.
• Join evidence-modelling teams to source affiliate data and co-create solutions.
• Collaborate with VAT and other cross-functional teams as required.
• Use analytical techniques with clinical data to inform pricing and market access strategy.
• Work with DSS team for trial analyses and HTA challenges.
