Job summary

Investment Bank is seeking a Vice President to join the Valuations Group. You will lead project teams in valuation and financial advisory, review models for illiquid debt and equity investments, and ensure high-quality deliverables across engagements and offices.

The role emphasizes entrepreneurial effort, opportunity to expand capabilities, and close collaboration with Managing Directors and clients. Prior investment banking or transaction experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in business valuations of illiquid securities and fairness opinions.
• Proficiency designing DCF, market multiple, transaction, and option pricing models.
• Ability to tailor valuation approaches for securities, loans, derivatives, structured products.
• Strong analytical skills to assess value drivers and investment risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience leading and developing teams of analysts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in valuation and financial advisory across engagements.
• Provide quality control oversight to engagement teams.
• Manage, train and develop associates and analysts.
• Proactively reach out to potential clients, including private equity and hedge funds.
