Job summary

Moore Kingston Smith’s Valuations team delivers independent, commercially focused valuation advice for SMEs to multinationals. You’ll manage a portfolio of engagements, guiding senior-level work with Partners and Directors, building client relationships and leading junior staff to deliver timely, high-quality outputs.

You will contribute to business development and senior-level reporting, while developing junior colleagues and strengthening the firm’s valuation capabilities across accounting,

Qualifications

• Significant valuation experience at senior level in a professional services firm.
• Strong technical valuation expertise across DCF, multiples, options, and intangible assets.
• Ability to interpret financial statements in a valuation context.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of value drivers.
• Excellent financial modelling, analytical and report writing skills.
• ACA/CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative team player with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

Drawing on a diverse mix of professional backgrounds and international experience, the team combines strong technical expertise with practical insight. We take a consultative approach, working closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver clear, tailored solutions. As a Senior Manager, you will manage a portfolio of valuation clients and projects, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality engagements. You will work closely with Partners and Directors to provide bespoke valuation advice, build strong client relationships, and contribute to business development initiatives. You will also lead and develop junior team members, playing a key role in the continued growth of this dynamic and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Significant valuation experience gained within a professional services firm at a senior level.
• Strong technical expertise across a range of valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, options and intangible asset valuations.
• Strong ability to interpret financial statements in a valuation context.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand the internal and external drivers of value for a given asset.
• Excellent financial modelling, analytical and report writing skills.
• Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, CFA or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clear.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
