Valuation Surveyor / Senior Surveyor (Sheffield or Leeds)

About the Role

The Valuation Business Line in Sheffield services a diverse client base including corporate owners, occupiers, banks, lenders, investors, institutions, and the public sector across Yorkshire, Humberside, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and Lancashire.

We are looking for a valuer at Surveyor level to support our team in service delivery and business development, reporting to the team leader. The role involves a wide range of valuation work across commercial and residential sectors, including development appraisals, with training available for valuation software such as Argus Developer and Argus Investor.

The position can be based in Sheffield or Leeds. Candidates should be degree-educated, RICS members, and ideally Registered Valuers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct valuation engagements from instruction to completion with support from team members
• Manage client relationships
• Prepare reports, valuations, and submissions, consulting senior staff on complex issues
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify new business opportunities
• Contribute to team targets and manage instructions or parts of major projects
• Enhance company reputation through successful project delivery
• Share knowledge and mentor junior staff

Requirements

• Degree-level education
• MRICS and RICS Registered Valuer
• Knowledge of valuation software such as Argus/KEL (training provided)

Experience

• Proven delivery in the UK Real Estate market, preferably in valuation within a consultancy or client environment
• Ability to manage a challenging workload
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
