Job summary

Technical Safety Services is seeking a Validation Technician to work on-site in the UK, with travel across the UK. You will support validation of cleanrooms, containment facilities and related equipment, handle service visits, calibration duties, and reporting.

Role requires a full UK driving license, willingness to undergo in-house training, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable IT skills, esp. MS Office applications.
• Ability to organize, motivate and work as part of a team.
• Logical approach to evaluation and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve client issues using CAT products and provide on/off-site assistance.
• Carry out minor repairs and basic servicing on air handling equipment.
• Submit service reports and upload data per CAT specifications; complete paperwork and communication to Admin via CATConnected portal.
• Review client PPM schedules and advise on testing improvements.
• Ensure timely calibration and notify any issues with test kit/equipment.
• Undertake all training, including RoSPA accredited essential Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental issues.

What will you do?

• Investigate and solve problems clients may experience using CAT products and services and offer any on/ off site assistance and advice in a professional manner.
• Carry out minor repairs and basic servicing on air handling equipment.
• Submit reports of all service visits and upload data promptly and in accordance with CAT specifications. Ensuring completion of all contracted tasks and completion of all relevant paperwork and communication to the Admin team, inline with the current procedures via CATConnected (company portal).
• Review client PPM (planned preventative maintenance) schedules and provide advice on where improvements can be made in testing methods or sequences.
• Full responsibility for all assigned test kit/ equipment to ensure timely calibration and notification of any issues in terms of functionality or required repairs.
• Undertake all training, including those related to RoSPA accredited essential Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental issues.
