You will support qualification of equipment, facilities and systems with extensive training, ideal for recent science or engineering graduates or those with relevant industry experience pursuing a career in Quality, Validation, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or Engineering.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing, executing, and reporting validation and qualification protocols.
• Supporting routine revalidation and requalification activities across manufacturing and laboratory environments.
• Conducting temperature mapping studies on equipment such as freezers, refrigerators and cold rooms.
• Performing air particle counting within controlled cleanroom environments.
• Carrying out airflow measurement and airflow visualisation studies.
• Producing accurate technical documentation and validation reports.
• Reviewing data and documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Validation Technician (Graduate or Technical Entry Level)

Permanent Full-Time 37 Hours Per Week Site-Based, Leicestershire

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Validation Technician to join a highly regulated manufacturing environment supporting the qualification, validation, and ongoing compliance of critical equipment, facilities, and systems. This role would be particularly well suited to a recent Science or Engineering graduate looking to build a career within Quality, Validation, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or Engineering. Equally, candidates with relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply. Working within a collaborative team, you will play a key role in ensuring that equipment, facilities, and processes operate consistently and meet regulatory and quality requirements. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to develop specialist validation expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing, executing, and reporting validation and qualification protocols
• Supporting routine revalidation and requalification activities across manufacturing and laboratory environments
• Conducting temperature mapping studies on equipment such as Freezers, refrigerators, cold rooms
• Performing air particle counting within controlled cleanroom environments
• Carrying out airflow measurement and airflow visualisation studies
• Supporting validation of isolator decontamination cycles using biological indicators
• Assisting with revalidation of sterilisation processes, including:
  • Hot air sterilising ovens
  • Sterilise-in-place systems
• Producing accurate technical documentation and validation reports
• Reviewing data and documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Working with a variety of critical equipment and systems, including:
  • Temperature-controlled equipment
  • Laboratory balances
  • Vial filling and sealing systems
  • Positive pressure glove isolators
  • HVAC and facility systems
  • Computerised systems

About You

We're looking for a practical, hands-on individual with excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent written communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and MS Excel
• Strong planning, organisation, and multitasking skills
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and develop within a regulated environment
