Job summary

Randox Laboratories is seeking a Validation Scientist for our biochip/serum manufacturing team at Randox Science Park, Antrim. You will review and plan validation activities for facilities, utilities and equipment, justify sampling plans statistically and collect data across multiple manufacturing processes.

The role requires a Biochemistry/Life Science degree, excellent organisation and communication skills, strong IT proficiency and the legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science or Life Science-related discipline.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Review and plan validation for processes related to facilities, utilities, equipment and cleaning.
• Statistical justification of sampling plans for validation projects.
• Data collection across processes such as mixing, cleaning, dispensing, lyophilization, sterilization, capping and labeling.
• Write reports to gather, evaluate and conclude results.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure all testing required by validation is performed as planned.

Contract Offered

Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours / Shifts

7am to 5.40pm, Monday to Thursday. Some flexibility may be required.

Right to Work Requirement

Please note that this role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. This is to ensure completion of our 9-month probationary period and for any potential sponsorship decisions to be considered. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at the point of hire.
