Job summary

Allied Vehicles in Glasgow is seeking a dedicated Valeter to join our Rentals department. You will prepare rental vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are clean, tidy and ready for customers. A Full UK Driving Licence and experience cleaning vehicles are preferred; strong organisation helps you meet deadlines.

• Complete vehicle valet checklists and return keys and paperwork to Fleet/Transport Managers.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Valeter to join our Rentals department. This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining vehicles to the highest standards.

You’ll play a key role in preparing each rental vehicle in the Glasgow Branch to be ‘Rental Ready’ ensuring each one is in a clean, tidy, and acceptable condition.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm and the salary is £13.45 per hour.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Valet all Rentals Department vehicles in accordance with the ‘Rental Ready’ standards as set out in the checklist, so that vehicles are all prepared to a high-quality condition before being delivered to customers.
• Monitor the workflow of rentals vehicles through valet on a daily basis, and refer any backlogs or possible delays to the Fleet Manager and Valet Manager.
• Complete a checklist for each valet, and mark down any issues on the checklist, handing all paperwork and keys back to the Fleet Manager or Transport Manager.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in cleaning and the preparation of vehicles.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
