Job summary

Vertu Volkswagen Skipton is seeking a reliable Valeter to prepare vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring cars look their best for collection or service appointments.

You will clean and present vehicles inside and out, move cars safely around the dealership, and support the Aftersales team to maintain the Vertu brand's high standards. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

Job description

As a Valeter, you'll play an important part in creating a fantastic experience for our customers. You'll be responsible for preparing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring every car is clean, presentable, and ready for collection or service appointments. Working closely with our Aftersales team, you'll help maintain the high standards our customers expect while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the dealership. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing customer vehicles to an exceptional standard
• Cleaning and presenting vehicles both inside and out
• Moving vehicles safely around the dealership and local area
• Working efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations
• Supporting the wider service team when required
• Delivering excellent customer service and representing the Vertu brand positively We're seeking someone who:
• Holds a full, clean UK driving licence
• Has a positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality work
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Can remain calm and organised in a busy environment
• Has a good knowledge of local roads and safe driving practices
