Job summary

Vertu Volkswagen Skipton is looking for a Valeter to prepare vehicles to high standards and present them impeccably for collection or service appointments. You will work closely with the Aftersales team to maintain the high standards our customers expect and help with day-to-day dealership operations.

About the Role

As a Valeter, you'll play an important part in creating a fantastic experience for our customers. You'll be responsible for preparing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring every car is clean, presentable, and ready for collection or service appointments.

Working closely with our Aftersales team, you'll help maintain the high standards our customers expect while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the dealership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing customer vehicles to an exceptional standard
• Cleaning and presenting vehicles both inside and out
• Moving vehicles safely around the dealership and local area
• Working efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations
• Supporting the wider service team when required

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who:

• Holds a full, clean UK driving licence
• Has a positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality work
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Can remain calm and organised in a busy environment
• Has a good knowledge of local roads and safe driving practices

Previous valeting experience is welcome but not essential. What's most important is your enthusiasm, reliability, and commitment to delivering great results.
