Job summary

Lithia UK in Chelmsford is seeking a dedicated Valeter to keep new and used vehicles presented to the highest standards and to ensure customer satisfaction remains at the core of our service. You’ll move vehicles around the dealership and maintain stock cleanliness for presentation to customers.

Essentially you must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years and have valeting or cleaning experience.

Qualifications

• Previous or current cleaning/valeting experience.
• Exceptional customer service and communications skills.
• Reliable, flexible, positive and professional.

Responsibilities

• Clean both new and used customer vehicles to high standards.
• Maintain showroom and forecourt vehicle stock cleanliness.

Do you put your customer’s needs in the heart of everything you do, ensuring that you deliver a high standard and professional service to your customers?

As a Valeter your role is to primarily deliver customer satisfaction by ensuring that our new and used vehicles are presented to the highest possible standards.

You’ll represent the company in a positive fashion at all times through maintaining a high standard of cleaning and valeting for presentation to customers.

You’ll also be responsible for moving vehicles around the dealership.

For this role it is essential that you have held a full UK drivers licence for a minimum of 3 years.

What does the role involve?

• Cleaning New and Used Customer Vehicles
• You will maintain the vehicle stock in the showroom and forecourt making sure that the are cleaned to a high standard in line with manufacturing standards
• Moving vehicles on and off site

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• Full UK drivers licence, held for a minimum of 3 years
• Previous or current cleaning/valeting experience
• Reliable, flexible, positive and professional
• Good team player with the ability to plan and prioritise own work load
• Exceptional customer service and communications skills
