Job summary

Donnelly Group is recruiting a Valeter for our Ballymena branch. You will be responsible for vehicle preparation, cleaning to high standards, and assisting with movement of vehicles around the site. The role requires reliability and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Two years' cleaning/valeting experience and a full driving licence are essential. Excellent communication and team collaboration are expected in a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in a cleaning or valeting role.
• Must hold a full driving licence.
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicles according to rota in preparation for the next day.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned to customer satisfaction.
• Assist with vehicle movement around site for collection and delivery.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and keep work areas tidy.
• Complete forecourt vehicle checks and report faults.
• Be prepared to work in varying weather conditions.

Valeter

Donnelly Group has a vacancy for a Valeter at our Ballymena Branch.

The successful candidate will be key member of the team and will focus on providing a high quality vehicle preparation.

About the role

The Role:

• Ensure vehicles are washed as per the Cleaning rota in preparation for the next day;


• Ensure vehicles are washed perfectly to customer satisfaction using the correct materials provided;


• Assist with the efficient flow of vehicles around the site, for collection and delivery;


• Maintenance of cleaning equipment and other materials;


• Maintain work areas in a clean and tidy condition;


• Complete vehicle forecourt checks to ensure all stock is cleaned to required standards;


• Assist with site maintenance duties as required;


• Be able to work in a variety of weather conditions


• Note any accidents or damage on vehicles and to bring to the attention of the relevant manager;

This is not an exhaustive list of duties and the post holder will be required to undertake any other reasonable duties discussed and directed by the line manager.
