Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Cheshire is recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join an established VAG specialist workshop. The role focuses on Volkswagen Group vehicles with a competitive salary and performance bonuses. Weekend work is not required.

You will perform MOT testing, servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs using advanced diagnostic equipment. A valid MOT licence and Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance are required, with strong teamwork and independence expected.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Tester licence - Essential.
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester.
• Experience on VAG vehicles advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Service and maintain Volkswagen Group vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out complex mechanical repairs.
• Clutch, brake, suspension and timing belt work.
• Use specialist diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Work as part of a specialist technical team.
