Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a modern independent automotive centre. You will conduct MOT tests, service vehicles, diagnose faults, and perform repairs across cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles.

Work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with no weekends. Join a well-established team in a spacious workshop with advanced diagnostic equipment and 30+ years of experience.

Qualifications

Valid MOT Tester licence – Essential.
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester.
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
Experience working across different vehicle makes and models.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
Completing servicing and routine maintenance.
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
Carrying out clutch, brake and suspension repairs.
Working on cars, vans and light commercial vehicles.
Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
Completing vehicle inspections and identifying additional repairs.
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
