Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Immunisation Programme Assistant (Brighton) for a temporary four-days-a-week role spanning four months (Sept–Dec 2026). The role involves clerical and clinical tasks across schools, clinics and patients’ homes, with travel within Sussex and occasional Saturday clinics during school terms.

Full driving license and IT literacy (Word/Excel/Outlook) are required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
• Excellent telephone manner and verbal communication skills are important.
• Full driving license and access to a car are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and clinical support in schools, bases, clinics and patients' homes.
• Prepare documentation and assist with running vaccination sessions and clinics.
• Accurately process completed session paperwork.
• During peak flu vaccination periods, assist with administering flu nasal spray under supervision.
