Job summary

Outsource UK Ltd is seeking a data cleansing contractor for a 6-month role based at Glascoed, BAE, with hybrid working. The position emphasizes strong Excel skills, data quality improvement, and collaboration across Finance, Procurement, Sales and IT to resolve data discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will cleanse and maintain master data, address duplicates and missing information, and support data migration activities while ensuring accuracy and governance across systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in data cleansing, data analysis or data administration.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and data manipulation.
• Experience with large and complex datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Cleanse, validate, and maintain supplier and customer master data across multiple systems.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues including duplicates, missing information, and inconsistencies.
• Perform bulk data updates in line with established governance processes and controls.
• Support ongoing data migration and transformation activities.
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and IT teams to resolve data discrepancies.

Data Cleansing – Contract: 6 months – Based: Glascoed, BAE – Hourly Rate: £13.94 Paye or £18.53 Umbrella – Inside IR35 – 37 hours Monday - Friday - Hybrid

Overview: This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel and data analysis skills who enjoys working with large datasets, improving data quality, and solving complex data issues. You will play a key role in ensuring critical business data is accurate, consistent, and fit for purpose, supporting operational efficiency, reporting, and compliance across the organisation.

Skills:

• Previous experience in data cleansing, data analysis, or data administration.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data manipulation techniques.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
