Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking an experienced Product Development Test Engineer to design and execute Verification & Validation activities for complex, integrated machines.

This role requires hands-on testing across electromechanical hardware, firmware, control systems and software, with emphasis on thorough documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and product development teams in Royston, Hertfordshire, ensuring traceability and robust test reporting throughout the

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing V&V activities within a product development environment.
• Experience testing complex integrated machines/products across electromechanical hardware, firmware and software.
• Strong focus on test planning, test protocols and test method development.
• Excellent documentation and traceability skills; able to document results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design V&V activities for complex, integrated machines.
• Create test plans and detailed test protocols with test cases and methods.
• Support test execution and management of test documentation.
• Record and manage anomalies and produce test reports.
• Develop templates for test documentation and reporting.
• Lead reviews of test protocols with wider engineering teams.
• Maintain traceability and clear documentation throughout the V&V process.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.
• Apply initiative to learn and adapt in a New Product Development context.
