Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking a Product Development Test Engineer to lead Verification & Validation (V&V) activities for complex, integrated machines in a product development environment.

Based in Royston, Hertfordshire, the role requires designing V&V tests for electromechanical hardware, firmware, control systems and software, with thorough test plans, documentation and traceability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing V&V activities in a product development environment.
• Experience testing complex, integrated machines.
• Ability to document tests with traceability.

Responsibilities

• Design V&V activities for complex, integrated machines.
• Create test plans and detailed test protocols, including test cases and test methods.
• Support test execution and management of test documentation.
• Record and manage anomalies and produce test reports.
• Develop templates for test documentation and reporting.
• Lead reviews of test protocols with wider engineering teams.
• Maintain clear documentation and traceability throughout the V&V process.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and product development teams.
• Apply initiative and continuous self-learning to develop technical knowledge and solve problems.
