Primo Interactive Limited in London is seeking a senior UX/UI designer to craft marketing sites, e-commerce flows, client portals and internal software from concept to handover. You will run usability tests and build a robust component library in Figma, ensuring accessibility as a core design principle.

You will also write interface copy and collaborate with analysts on A/B tests to design effective variants, delivering production-ready designs with clear developer handoff.

Qualifications

• At least five years of commercial design experience you can show.
• A portfolio of shipped work with measurable results.
• Figma in daily use and a component library discipline.
• Understanding of HTML and CSS to estimate design costs.
• Writing: interface copy is part of design.

A design here is finished when the numbers say so. Our clients pay for enquiries, sales and bookings, and the pages you design are measured on them. That makes the work more interesting, not less: you get to see what people actually did, and change it.

You will design marketing sites, e-commerce, client portals and internal software, from the first sketch to the handover to a developer who sits next to you. Usability testing is one of our services, so you will run sessions as well as design for them.

What you will be doing

• Work with the analyst on A/B tests, and design the variants.
• Keep accessibility in the design, not bolted on after: contrast, focus, structure, forms.
• Hand over to developers with the detail they need and nothing they do not.

What you will need

• At least five years of commercial work in this field that you can show us. We promise clients that everyone on their project has that, so it is not negotiable.
• A portfolio of shipped work with the results, not only the mock-ups.
• Figma in daily use, and the discipline of a component library.
• Understanding of HTML and CSS, so your designs cost what you think they cost.
• Writing. Interface copy is design, and you will write it.

Useful, not required

• E-commerce design where you saw the conversion data.
• WCAG 2.2 in practice, including testing with assistive technology.
