This role is part of the Research Team within the Design & Customer Experience (DCE) Team, primarily based in London, with potential coverage in other EU markets. As a UX Researcher in International Consumer Banking, you will be central to delivering innovative ideas to our customers. You should be curious, collaborative, passionate about technology, solution-oriented, and knowledgeable about fintech, working effectively in tribes and squads focused on specific products and projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct user research in specific product areas, collaborating with Design, Content, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Advocate for using customer insights and data to inform decision-making.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to best practices, research methodologies, and frameworks to improve efficiency.
  • Promote a customer-first mindset across the organization.
  • Prioritize research opportunities in a dynamic environment.
  • Develop research plans and strategies, conducting generative and evaluative research.
  • Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research activities.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience as a user/UX researcher.
  • Proficiency in a range of exploratory and evaluative research methods.
  • Experience with research in product and service development.
  • Ability to scale research processes and establish best practices.
  • Deep understanding of UX, UI, and design principles.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate research insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with peers, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
