Job summary

Tesco in London is seeking a Mid-weight UX Researcher to shape the future of our internal Enterprise and Data Science tools. You will work with a Senior UX Researcher to uncover user needs and translate insights into design decisions that improve colleagues', suppliers' and Data Scientists' experiences.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office. You will plan and execute research across product lifecycles, facilitate workshops, and collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering and

Qualifications

• Experience researching digital products, services, or platforms within enterprise or complex organisational environments.
• Strong knowledge of qualitative research methods, including interviews, usability testing, contextual enquiry, workshops and journey mapping.
• Experience using quantitative methods such as surveys, analytics and data-driven insights.
• Ability to independently plan, conduct and analyse research activities end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver UX research across Enterprise and Data Science products and journeys.
• Plan and conduct research from discovery through post-launch evaluation.
• Identify user needs, behaviours, challenges and opportunities via various methods.
• Translate findings into actionable insights for product and design decisions.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Data Scientists and Analysts to embed user-centred thinking.
• Facilitate workshops, presentations and playback sessions to share insights with stakeholders.
• Support teams in balancing user needs, business goals and technical constraints.
• Contribute to research strategy, best practices and growth of user-centred design across the organisation.
