Job summary

Rowden Technologies Ltd. is seeking a UX Designer to tackle high-autonomy, complex problems where connectivity may be degraded and decisions are critical. You will work closely with product and engineering, conduct your own user research, and take ownership of the quality of what ships.

The role emphasizes structured problem understanding, strong design craft, accessibility, and collaboration with front-end engineers to ensure designs are realised as intended.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing end-to-end design on complex products.
• Ability to turn loosely-defined problems into structured understanding.
• Experience across interaction design and workflow design.
• Experience planning and running user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing).
• Proficiency in Figma as primary design tool.
• Strong ability to communicate design thinking to engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX design from framing to implementation with accountability for quality.
• Make sense of complex problem spaces and communicate clear recommendations with trade-offs.
• Produce design artefacts: flows, wireframes, prototypes to move work forward.
• Plan and conduct user research and translate findings into design decisions.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers during delivery to ensure intent is preserved.
• Design with WCAG accessibility in mind for diverse users.
