Job summary

Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited is seeking a talented UX Designer to shape the developer experience for Alexa device apps. You will design intuitive workflows for testing, submitting, and certifying apps, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and senior designers.

Qualifications

Experience delivering UX/interaction design solutions.
Available online portfolio.
Experience conducting user research and creating personas/journeys.
Experience designing software applications, tools, or web products.
Ability to communicate with engineering teams about technical concepts.
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

Design UX for developer tools and workflows related to Alexa testing, submission, and certification processes.
Create design solutions including interaction design, visual design, wireframes, and prototypes.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences.
Support user research activities with developers to understand pain points and workflows.
Design and iterate on developer consoles, dashboards, testing interfaces, and submission portals.
Apply and contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across developer touchpoints.
Present design concepts to team members and stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure quality implementation of designs.
Balance developer needs with business objectives and technical constraints.
Develop AI automation tools (e.g. Figma plugins with vibe coding).
