National Grid is hiring a UX Designer to join our Technology team. This role can be based at our Warwick, Bristol, or Cardiff offices. This role operates under a hybrid working model. You’ll also have access to our London co-working space if that fits your working pattern.
You’ll play a key role in designing intuitive, user-centred digital experiences that make a real impact across National Grid. Working closely with Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders, you’ll turn complex challenges into simple, accessible, and engaging solutions that deliver value for our users and business.
We’re looking for a talented UX Designer to create intuitive, engaging, and impactful digital experiences that make a real difference to our users. You’ll play a key role in shaping how people interact with our products, turning complex challenges into seamless, user-centred solutions that balance customer needs with business goals.
Working as part of a collaborative Agile/Scrum team, you’ll partner closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to bring ideas to life. From uncovering user needs and defining user journeys, to creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished high‑fidelity designs, you’ll influence every stage of the product lifecycle.
Using industry‑leading design tools, you’ll craft visually compelling and highly functional experiences that are simple, intuitive, and enjoyable to use. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape innovative digital products, champion best‑practice user experience design, and ensure every interaction delivers real value for our customers.
