Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced Utility Surveyor based in the East Midlands, with work across Derby and Rugby. You will identify and map underground utilities, using EM locating devices and GPR to deliver accurate survey data for planning, design and construction.

The ideal candidate will have PAS 128 experience, CAD drawing skills, and a methodical approach to ensure safety and quality on site. Travel to client sites will be involved as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility surveying and underground service detection.
• Ability to collect, interpret and process survey data to support projects.
• Familiarity with PAS 128 standards and CAD-based survey drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out underground utility surveys on diverse sites identifying buried assets.
• Operate EM tracking equipment and GPR to locate services.
• Record location, depth and alignment with position techniques and CAD tools.
• Produce survey drawings and reports meeting project standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand requirements and schedules.
