Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group is supporting a Derby-based Utility Surveyor role. You will identify and map underground utilities across commercial, construction and infrastructure sites, using EML and GPR tools. Travel to client sites may be required, with a focus on accurate data and safe working practices.

Qualifications

Experience in utility surveying and locating buried services.
Proficient with EML and GPR survey tools.
Knowledge of PAS 128 standards and surveying methodologies.
Experience collecting and interpreting survey data.
Familiarity with CAD software for survey drawings.

Responsibilities

Carry out underground utility surveys on various sites, locating buried services (gas, water, electricity, telecoms, drainage).
Operate EM detection equipment to identify assets and record precise locations.
Adhere to PAS 128 and industry standards for data consistency and safety.
Record location, depth and alignment using appropriate positioning techniques.
Produce clear survey drawings and reports using CAD software.
