SOCOTEC is seeking an experienced Utility Surveyor based in Leeds to deliver accurate utility mapping and surveys across UK projects. You will work with cutting-edge equipment and collaborate with project teams to ensure precision, safety and timely reporting.

The role involves post-processing GPR data, mentoring junior staff, and occasional travel. A full UK driving licence and CSCS card are required, with a competitive salary and supportive development culture.

Formación

• Excellent knowledge and experience of underground utility tracing and GPR.
• Experience across varied environments and complex surveys.
• Ability to post-process GPR data.
• Knowledge of PAS 128:2014 specification surveys.
• Full UK manual driving licence and CSCS card.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct GPR and Utility Mapping surveys with advanced equipment.
• Undertake investigative utility surveys and paperwork per procedures.
• Engage with site surveyors, contractors, suppliers and clients.
• Create Utility Survey Reports and perform data QC.
• Check survey drawings before customer issuance.
• Mentor and train Trainee & Junior Surveyors as required.
• Provide technical support to Project Managers and internal staff.
• Travel across the UK; occasional night or weekend shifts.
