Job summary

Survey Solutions in Milton Keynes/Bedford is seeking a Utility Surveyor to join our utility department. You will perform independent utility and CCTV surveys, process data, and contribute to multi-disciplinary projects.

You will mentor less experienced staff and help maintain equipment while complying with safety standards. The role is full-time with varied site hours, occasional weekends, and a focus on high-quality output.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in utilities surveying or similar field.
• Experience with CCTV and utility surveys.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete a range of utility and CCTV surveys to a high standard.
• Work on large and complex projects with team members of varying ability.
• Provide guidance to trainees and junior staff onsite and in the office.
• Maintain survey instruments and ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
• Conduct site inspections and dynamic risk assessments; report safety issues.
