Requirements

The successful candidate will be responsible for utility surveying, data collection, and all associated reporting. They will undertake utility mapping surveys to PAS128 standard to provide high-quality survey data, maintaining safe working practices, following surveying processes, and client-instructed specifications. Delivery of survey outcomes to the highest standards of accuracy within specified timescales is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review Scope of Work from the SMT prior to each site mobilisation to ensure correct and complete delivery of works.
2. Collect survey data on site, promptly return and download data to the office for post-processing and project delivery.
3. Work within industry guidelines and client specifications.
4. Communicate effectively with other survey operatives both on site and in the office.
5. Collaborate with the SMT to ensure timely project delivery according to standards, format, and client requirements.
6. Complete and follow Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and all Health and Safety reporting guidelines.
7. Adhere to legislative requirements on site.
8. Provide feedback to the SMT on progress, project delivery, and improvement opportunities.
9. Participate in developing equipment, procedures, or new software.
10. Maintain equipment and vehicles for safe use.
11. Perform additional duties within other areas of the company as required.
12. Experience with asset location surveying equipment, including Electro-magnetic and GPR (Post Processed).
13. Proven IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
14. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
15. Exceptional attention to detail.
16. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
