Base Location: Melksham

Salary: £28,072 - £32,605 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Onsite

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Utility Groundworker to join our Reinstatement team in Melksham (Wiltshire). This is a hands-on role responsible for groundworks/reinstatement of SSE excavations.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working as part of a team to reinstate excavations in highways and private sites, ensuring good communication and safety practices.
2. Working outdoors in all weather conditions, adhering to regulations, and delivering excellent customer service for reactive maintenance.
3. Collaborating with your manager and assisting with ad hoc projects as needed.
4. Performing physically demanding reinstatement works on highways and private land.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Experience with groundworks/reinstating techniques including Tarmac, slabs, and concrete.
2. HGV license and experience with hotbox or grab/HIAB lorries are desirable.
3. Experience working on public highways with traffic signals and working alongside various lorries.
