Job Description: Tree Cutter

We are seeking a Tree Cutter to join our team to help maintain the safety and reliability of our power network. This is a mobile, predominantly field-based role with a base location in Swindon, Oxford, or Andover, and requires commuting to depots in these areas.

Responsibilities:

• Manage trees and vegetation near our distribution network, working with safety as a priority.
• Evaluate, prepare, and carry out tree cutting works on various sites.
• Work as part of a skilled team to ensure the safety and efficiency of tree management activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in tree cutting, forestry, or arboriculture.
• Relevant NPTC certificates for chainsaw use and other qualifications such as NPTC UA.
• Enthusiasm, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience working with power lines and climbing is advantageous.
• A current driving license is required, as travel is involved.
