About The Role

Days of Working: Monday to Friday

Shift Pattern: 8:00am to 17:00pm

Key Responsibilities

1. Evaluate and consent work in your geographical area, ensuring it is planned and completed according to your LCM’s programme.
2. Ensure staff or subcontractors are equipped and motivated to deliver operations to safety, compliance, and efficiency standards, contacting your LCM if not.
3. Support and promote proactive work and demonstrate leadership when needed.
4. Retain responsibility for your work through to completion, liaising with your LCM on work volumes, costs, and challenges.
5. Ensure work specifications and method statements are fully completed and the team is trained and compliant.
6. Follow operational procedures, safe working methods, and environmental practices according to customer and company standards during planning.
7. Ensure all necessary documentation is available and correctly completed before site work begins.
8. Provide regular updates to your LCM.
9. Ensure work complies with legislation and reinforce safety and quality standards.

Key Hiring Criteria

1. Good basic education.
2. Computer literacy and administrative skills (app-based data collection, email writing).
3. Qualified UA5 or equivalent (including Lantra Transmission Surveyor).
4. Relevant industry qualifications (preferred).
5. Professional Tree Inspector (PTI) certification (mandatory if not held).
6. Proven track record in Utility Arboriculture.
7. Proficiency in Excel & finance systems.
8. Diligent, numerate, with excellent attention to detail.
9. Ability to prioritize and organize tasks.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
