Job description

Utilities Project Manager
Based in Twyford, Berkshire
GBP(Apply online only) per day
12 months rolling contract

My client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager with a background in the utilities and civils sector to work on one of the highest profile schemes in the U.K delivering HS2.

Responsibilities:
- Delivery of works on site in a safe productive manner
- Delivering utility diversions project schemes including water, gas, electric and communications assets
- Manage the day to day site operations on site
- Ability to write RAMS/WPPs, documentation for ITP's
- Ability to complete the required daily records for works completed on site each day and note all programme delays, attendees, raise with the commercial team any changes/ issues re the contracted works
- Attend weekly progress meetings with the client
- Update information re the programme to the programme team
- Overall responsibility for the works on site.
- Manage and ensure ITPs are agreed and completed accordingly.
- Completing documentation to get contract to site
- Management of appointed specialist subcontractors etc. is being carried out to specification and programme

Requirements:
- CSCS black card
- SMSTS (CITB)
- NRSWA Supervisor
- Ability to manage staff, sub-contractors and suppliers
- Suitable Project Management Qualification
- First Aid Qualified
- Understanding of utility projects
- Management of Health and Safety on site
- Ability/ confidence to run a site
