Job summary

Welsh Water is seeking a capable Utilities Planner for our Nelson operation. You will oversee day-to-day traffic management schemes booked in from DCWW, using Total Mobile and operations boards to track progress.

The role requires strong IT literacy, accurate data handling, and close coordination with depots and subcontractors. You will ensure timely updates to daily/weekly whereabouts, support billing processes, and maintain high service levels for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role would be highly beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• IT literate with good administrative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Log and record all activities on our management software – Total Mobile and Operations boards.
• Plan and mobilise stage; ensure accurate data is captured and uploaded to ops boards.
• Maintain clear administration of designated mailboxes and ensure information submitted with job requests.
• Assist with billing-related tasks and provide accurate revenue/utilisation reports.
