Job summary

Avara Foods is seeking a Utilities Operative for our Hollybank site in Scropton, near Hatton. You will help maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards across facilities, with full training provided and no prior experience required.

Hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 06:00–15:00, with guaranteed hours and overtime opportunities. A secure contract and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Experience within a similar cleaning/hygiene position is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining on-site laundry and keeping relevant records.
• Washing, drying and issuing PPE.
• General cleaning of locker rooms, canteen and toilets.
• Keeping locker and laundry rooms clean and tidy to reduce risk of contamination.

About The Role

As Utilities Operative you’ll be helping to ensure the high levels cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards are upheld.
