Join Our Team as a Utilities Improvement Engineer: Drive Sustainability and Innovation!

Contract Type: Permanent; 40 hours/week (Monday - Friday)

Location: Bridgwater - TA6 6DF

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Utilities Improvement Engineer to join our team at Bridgwater Dairy, part of Müller Milk & Ingredients. If you are driven by sustainability and eager to make a tangible impact, this role is for you!

The Utilities Improvement Engineer will be part of the site maintenance team, leveraging and initiating opportunities to improve utilities and energy efficiency. You will work with key stakeholders to understand and deliver strategic objectives aligned with the company's sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Reduce energy & water consumption by 3% per unit of milk produced.
• Assist the Compliance Manager in advancing facilities infrastructure and procedures.
• Improve utilities maintenance through innovative methods and hazard elimination.
• Share knowledge and coach team members; step in for the Compliance Manager when needed.
• Collaborate with Group functions to drive improvement initiatives through Capex processes.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a skilled engineer with hands-on experience in utilities equipment such as steam generation, air compressors, electricity generation, water, effluent treatment, ammonia refrigeration, and sustainability project management. Your ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and implement solutions will be key to your success.
