Job summary

Refresco Drinks UK is seeking a Utilities Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (biased) to keep Bridgwater’s factory running at peak capacity. You will support planned and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art equipment, including conveyors, wrappers, pumps, silos and processing machinery, ensuring uptime and reliability.

You should have a minimum L3 engineering qualification (or time served) with a multi-skilled background. Ex-military candidates are welcome.

• FMCG/food industry background desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality engineering service in collaboration with the Engineering Team Leader.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, basic control and instrumentation faults quickly.
• Carry out a full range of maintenance activities across the installed asset base in your area.
• Contribute to factory improvement projects and drive site efficiency.

Utilities Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (either bias) - Bridgwater, Somerset, You will be an integral part of your team, ensure the factory is kept up and running to its highest capacity, and work as part of a well-regarded, focused maintenance team. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance work throughout our factory on various state-of-the-art equipment including; pallet wrappers, shrink wrappers, conveyors, check weighers, palletizers, packaging machinery, processing systems, specialist food processing machinery, silos, pumps, pipework, etc.

What are your daily tasks as a Utilities Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer at Refresco Bridgwater?

• Working closely with the Engineering Team Leader, responsible for delivering a high-quality Engineering service.
• Rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, basic control, and instrumentation faults.
• Completing a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area.
• Continuously working to improve performance to deliver site efficiency and performance standards.
• Get involved with factory improvement projects.

We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer with a multi-skilled engineering background (either biased). You must hold a minimum L3 qualification in an engineering discipline or be time served. Candidates from an FMCG/food background would be highly desirable, however, we will consider candidates from other backgrounds. Ex-military are welcome to apply.

£57,484.73 and shift allowance of £5,748.48

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, days and nights. 24/7 shift pattern, Average of 42 hours per week
