Refresco Bridgwater is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep our Somerset site running at peak capacity. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control faults, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance across pallet wrappers, conveyors, pumps, silos, and packaging lines.

Applicants should have an L3 engineering qualification or time served, with a bias toward either electrical or mechanical work. FMCG experience is desirable; ex-military welcome.

• Completing a full range of maintenance activities across the installed asset base within your work area.
• Continuously improving performance to deliver site efficiency and meet performance standards; participate in factory improvement projects.

£54,747.36 plus shift allowance 5,474.74 Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, days. 24/7 shift pattern, Average of 40 hours per week

About the role:

You will be an integral part of your team, ensure the factory is kept up and running to its highest capacity, and work as part of a well-regarded, focused maintenance team. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance work throughout our factory on various state-of-the-art equipment including; pallet wrappers, shrink wrappers, conveyors, check weighers, palletizers, packaging machinery, processing systems, specialist food processing machinery, silos, pumps, pipework, etc.

What are your daily tasks as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer at Refresco Bridgwater?

• Working closely with the Engineering Team Leader, responsible for delivering a high-quality Engineering service.Rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, basic control, and instrumentation faults.
• Completing a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area.
• Continuously working to improve performance to deliver site efficiency and performance standards.Get involved with factory improvement projects.

About you:

We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer with a multi-skilled engineering background (either biased). You must hold a minimum L3 qualification in an engineering discipline or be time served. Candidates from an FMCG/food background would be highly desirable, however, we will consider candidates from other backgrounds. Ex-military are welcome to apply.
