Job Description:

Stealth IT Consulting is currently supporting a major player within the digital consulting industry, seeking SC Cleared User Researchers to make an impact within the Design team. This role offers opportunities for development and growth, working with prominent clients in both the public and private sectors, including DWP, NHS Digital, BP, and Ikea.

This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to London, Manchester, or Glasgow depending on the client project.

You will champion inclusive design practices throughout project lifecycles, ensuring solutions are accessible to a diverse range of users. This involves engaging in user research, applying accessibility guidelines and legislation, and advocating for inclusive design principles in your deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hands-on experience leading user research using behavioral and attitudinal methods, with the ability to apply them appropriately.
  • Experience across multiple phases of a product or service lifecycle, from discovery and exploration to design and delivery.
  • Currently holding an active SC (Security Check) Clearance.
  • Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and design principles.
  • Strong storytelling, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary, agile teams, leading user research and influencing design through insights.
  • Familiarity with prototypes for testing hypotheses, assumptions, and validating user journeys.
  • Knowledge of tools and practices for in-person and remote research.
