User Researcher (Must have SC Clearance)

Stealth iT Consulting is supporting a major player in the digital consulting sector and seeks SC Cleared User Researchers to join their Design team. This role offers opportunities for development and growth, working with prominent clients across public and private sectors, including DWP, NHS Digital, BP, and Ikea.

The position is primarily remote with occasional travel to London, Manchester, or Glasgow, depending on the project requirements.

You will promote inclusive design practices throughout project lifecycles, ensuring accessibility for diverse users. Responsibilities include engaging in user research, applying accessibility standards, and advocating for inclusive design principles.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience leading user research using behavioral and attitudinal methods, with appropriate application of each.
• Experience across various phases of product or service development, from discovery to delivery.
• Currently hold an active SC (Security Check) Clearance.
• Experience with GDS service standards and design principles.
• Strong storytelling, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Experience leading user research in multidisciplinary, agile teams and influencing design through insights.
• Familiarity with prototyping to test hypotheses and validate user journeys.
• Knowledge of tools and practices for in-person and remote research.
