London + hybrid, 2-3 days/week in the office

This leading and well-established fintech offers a lending marketplace and data products which together lead the way in the digital transformation of credit risk assessment for businesses.

As part of their growth plans, they now need to hire a UX /UI Product Designer with at least one year’s professional experience, to:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, customer success, etc.) to define and guide innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate the why behind the interaction and design ideas.
Develop high-quality UX designs and document standards (mockups, prototypes, etc.) based on user requirements, personas, and business goals.
Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to identify and troubleshoot UX problems.
Translate design challenges into clear, user-friendly experiences across web and mobile.
Participate in the ideation process, brainstorming, and discussions to build a product that serves user needs and enhances engagement.

Experience sought

You’ve worked in a product design-oriented roles in fintech or a related field for 1-2 years, but most importantly are eager to learn, grow, and develop in your product design career.
You’re passionate about delivering customer outcomes that solve real world problems faced by the industry, putting users at the heart of solutions.
You have experience in a B2B SaaS product organisation, supporting with UX/UI scoping of products.
You love to think out of the box, and love getting to the heart of problems.
You have professional experience of Figma, ideally, or willingness to cross-train into Figma, having developed skills already in something similar, such as Adobe or Sketch
