Job Description

Shape the future of user experience with strategic design initiatives that blend business needs and user insights. This role is to lead end-to-end product design for climate risk experiences—turning complex climate, hazard, and financial risk data into intuitive workflows that help users assess, manage, and act on risk.

As an Experience Design Vice President in Risk Technology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our products and services. Leveraging your deep knowledge of design and research practices to lead strategically important initiatives and develop innovative solutions that align with business requirements and user needs. As a subject matter expert, collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide, and mentor junior designers, and foster a culture of inclusivity and accessibility. Your expertise in experience strategy and inclusive design will ensure that our offerings are not only visually appealing but also accessible and user-friendly, enhancing the overall customer experience.

  • Own the UX strategy and detailed interaction design for climate risk products.
  • Translate climate risk concepts (e.g., physical and transition risk, scenarios, exposures) into clear user journeys, information architecture, and task flows.

  • Design dashboards and decision-support tools that balance transparency, explainability, and usability for expert and non-expert users.
  • Plan and run research (interviews, usability tests), synthesize insights, and iterate based on evidence.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI; contribute to and evolve the design system.
