Perfect Placement represents a reputable automotive dealership in Dunstable seeking an experienced Car Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales team and drive used car sales while maximising profitability.

You will manage daily sales operations, maintain strong new vehicle performance, and collaborate with management on stock strategy, pricing, and customer service to meet ambitious KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a vehicle sales team in a dealership.
• Strong used car sales, stock management and margin enhancement.
• Excellent commercial and financial awareness; KPI driven.

Responsibilities

• Drive used vehicle sales, profit, and stock turn.
• Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to meet and exceed targets.
• Maintain a consistent sales process from enquiry to handover.
• Monitor and improve enquiry handling, follow-up, and sales conversion.
• Promote finance penetration, product sales, and overall deal profitability.
• Ensure all sales activities are compliant with company standards.
• Collaborate with senior management on stock strategy and performance.
• Maintain strong new vehicle sales performance in line with manufacturer standards.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
